Glorious did a courageous thing. She left her abusive husband. She didn't have a lot of money, and her daughter, Medius, was still only a few years old, but Glorius believed she could make it.
And she did. She raised Medius and watched her get married. She was a doting grandmother to her grandson, Abel. Glorious thought her daughter would have a better life. Her heart broke when she saw Medius suffering in an abusive relationship just like she had. When her daughter finally escaped with little Abel, Glorious took her family into her home and cared for them.
They struggled to put food on the table and their home was crumbling around them. The kitchen was useless. The pit latrine was dangerous. They only had meager money from working in their neighbors gardens. It wasn't enough to rebuild. All she could do was focus on keeping her family alive today. She couldn't even think about tomorrow.
Because of you, Glorious' Granny Group was able to build her a complete new home--a house, smokeless kitchen, and pit latrine. She never expected such a gift in her lifetime. Glorious says she can finally live a happy life with her family. She can think about more than survival.
Thanks to you, she can dream.
