You are empowering grandmothers to be entrepreneurs!
Ellina is a 62-year-old grandmother taking care of her grandchild, David. She owns a small shop where she sells handcrafts she's made and other products like egg plants, yellow bananas, avocadoes, pineapples, and sugar canes from her own gardens. Because Ellina is an amazing multitasker, she also raises and sells pigs.
She's received a loan of 200,000 Ugandan Shillings (about $60 USD) to help her with these businesses and now she makes about 70,000 Ugandan Shillings ($21 USD) every month. Because of her success, she is able to pay David's school fees, buy household items, take care of her personal needs, and pay for medical care.
Another loan will help her businesses grow even more! She is applying for another loan of 200,000 Uganda Shillings so she can build a pig sty and a secure storage building for the products she sells in her stores.
Ellina is a hardworking entrepreneur. Because of your support, she is empowered to escape poverty.
