YOU are making miracles happen for grandmothers!
Annah is a widow raising two teenagers, Nahabwe (15 years old) and Justus (13 years old).
Finding water has become a big problem for Annah. She cannot walk the many miles to fetch water for her family and relies on her grandchildren to help her. Sometimes Annah must go all day without water while she waits for her grandchildren to come home.
Her grandchildren already walk long distances to school and often get home late at night. Leaving to get water at night can be dangerous--especially for girls who are vulnerable to sexual assault.
Fortunately, Annah is one of the grandmothers YOU are supporting this year by giving her a water harvesting tank. This large tank allows her to collect rainwater and store it safely so her family can have clean, safe water to drink without having to walk to fetch it.
YOU are not only keeping Annah's family healhty, YOU are giving back precious study time to Nahabwe and Justus!
Thank YOU!
