YOU empower grandmothers to change their circumstances by giving them the tools they need to succeed. YOU are giving grandmothers vital supports like water harvesting tanks, farming tools, micro-finance loans, vocational training, and new homes, pit latrines, and smokeless kitchens.
Rosa is a 58-year-old widow raising four orphaned grandchildren. She struggled to get enough clean water for her family until she was given a water harvesting tank.
This is what Rosa had to say in her own words:
"I am so happy for the water harvesting tank I received that I now use to store and harvest water that has greatly brought comfort and joy in my family. My children could move long distances during and after rainy season but now am ready to store enough clean water for my family."
