Rotary Newtownabbey are pleased to report that £6,078 (sum received from GlobalGiving up to 30th June) has been transferred to Northern Ireland Children's Hopsice, Horizon House. The procurement process for some items of equipment can now begin and we look forward to reporting on the progress of this at a later stage.
It's thanks to our amazing donors we have now raised over 50% of the project target funds. Donors from near and far - our local community supporters, Rotarians (clubs and individuals) from Ireland and USA - all have been significant players and continue to be, in this magnificent achievement to date. Thank you, one and all for this sterling effort.
Thanks also need to be expressed to our Children's Hospice colleague at Horizon House, Thomas (Trust & Major Donor Engagement Executive) whose continued significant input and guidance since the inception of the project has been invaluable. Through Thomas, we know that donors may be assured that their funds will achieve maximum impact on the specialist care of the young children at Horizon House. We look forward to continued support from our donors to see the project through to a satisfactory conclusion.
