I have just returned from my project visit to Nicaragua. It was so good to see the team again and I am happy that we have such committed colleagues who are a pleasure to work with and who are so committed to our goals. Due to new legal regulations, we have had to change the organizational structure of our project and now open a private medical practice in Ocotal. This will not change anything for our patients; they will continue to receive the same quality of treatment free of charge. However, it is a lot of work for us and requires us to partially modify our current practice so that it meets official equipment standards. Not only is it a lot of work, but it is also very expensive! But this is the only way we can continue our project and we are confident that we can cover these costs through donations.
