Tracy is 4 years old and has cerebral palsy. She and her mom Annie (shown here) enjoy laughing and smiling together during music time at our Kabanana Community Care Center. As you can probably tell, their joy is infectious! It is an incredible feeling when your child is accepted, cared for, and encouraged to grow!
So many families in developing areas like Lusaka, Zambia, are fighting an uphill battle to have their child with a disability seen as anything other than a curse in their community. Because of this, these parents can deal with overwhelming feelings of depression and isolation. Through your support, we are changing this reality, one family at a time. Thank you!
