Young Imaginations Music/Dance Arts Education
![]()
Young Imaginations continues to make a real and meaningful difference in the lives of under-served youth via music and dance arts education in public schools.
Without Young Imaginations, music and dance arts education would be missing from the classroom curriculum of economically and socially challenged children within local communities.
Our classroom program provides music and dance arts education to between 500 public school children during the school year... primarily youth of Hispanic/Latino heritage (90% of the population we serve).
While our Teaching Artists strive to provide a multicultural arts education that reflects our students cultural heritage, our primary aim is to provide access to music and dance education and the unique benefits it provides school age children: right brain development, a sense of self-efficacy, self-esteem, and for some children, a hidden talent that can later develop into a rewarding career in the arts.
On behalf of the under-served youth who greatly benefit from your donation to GlobalGiving, we at Young Imaginations would like to express our gratitude for the arts education your generosity makes possible.
