Dear friend,
Fall has come once again. Light is fading, leaves on the trees are delighting us in their beautiful colors, but are subtly letting us know that it will not be long before the simple colors of winter take over. Cold is creeping in, helping us appreciate more the coziness of indoors or the joy of warming up through movement.
The joy of movement is something I want to talk to you about in this letter. For many of us, this is a given, should we decide to take up the challenge or the change of routine, but for the children and adults with mobility disabilities served by Motivation, movement is a gift which is only made possible with the appropriate mobility equipment. And this is what we do together, you and us – giving the gift of movement, one person at a time, through the Wheelchair Fund.
In this letter, I introduce to you Ionut, who lost his mobility in a car accident, in 2019. His journey was bumpy, but finally we found the right mobility equipment for him. Read how the right equipment, together with the independent training provided by Motivation, brought Ionut back on the road towards freedom of movement!
