Hi Friends,

We want to express our deepest gratitude to you, our supporters, for your unwavering dedication to the menstrual health and security of girls affected by the earthquake. Your contributions have truly made a difference, empowering these girls to meet their menstrual needs, stay in school, and pursue a brighter future.

As a pioneering leader in menstrual rights for teen girls in Morocco, Project Soar has been working tirelessly over the past few months to finalize a groundbreaking menstrual product: Soar x Hurya, the first and only sustainable menstrual kit made in Morocco for teen girls and women. Developed through extensive collaboration with Interlinge, a Casablanca-based textile and lingerie company, this kit combines our expertise in menstrual health with Interlinge's proficiency in high-quality menstrual products. This innovative kit includes a range of reusable underwear designed to meet menstrual needs throughout the entire cycle, along with an educational brochure offering essential information on periods and menstrual hygiene. Soar x Hurya is specifically designed to support those with limited financial resources, making it especially suitable for earthquake-survivor teen girls and women.

During the past few months, our team at Project Soar has been working hard to get Soar x Hurya into the hands of more girls and women living in underserved communities. And guess what? The NGO Care Maroc just purchased 700 Soar x Hurya kits that will be given to earthquake survivors! But that’s not all! In June, we had the incredible chance to show Soar x Hurya to the UN Sanitation and Hygiene Fund, and they showed great interested in teaming up with us to make these kits available to girls and women around the world!

We’re beyond excited about these developments and can’t wait to keep you updated on all the progress we’re making thanks to your awesome support. Together, we’re making a huge difference, helping more girls stay in school and avoid child marriage.

Stay tuned for more updates!

Warmest wishes,

The Project Soar Team
