The poor rural women in nepal because of poverty and the effect of COVID-19 pandemic have been severely affected by daily livelihood and their basic health and sanitation.They still not capable of buying LP gas to cook their meals.So that they cook their foods on extracting fuel woods which generates harmful smoke in the kitchen and induce for pulmonary disease due to some time produces toxic gases.
In such circumstances MRC Nepal supply and support portable cookstove which minimizes indoor smoke pollution and minimizing the number of using fuel wood. Hence,the support improve the health of the women and children and minimize the need of fuel wood also. These beneficiaries also supported by providing quality vegetable seeds with improved technologies that hely generating attractive income from the sale of vegetable products.
In this regards the support addresses improving livelihood and health both,so that the beneficiaries thank to GLOBAL GIVING and MRC Nepal both for these support.
