Dear Friend,
Greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing sanitation and food security to poor, marginal farmers in remote villages here. Last reporting period, we were able to provide 30 low-cost durable latrines to beneficiaries belonging to the Subanen tribe. Thanks also to local supporters here who provided us with the needed materials and logistics in our work. We included this time in our initiative the promotion of high-valued crops such as cacao to increase the income base of farmers. The value of cacao in the local market is on the rise with demand very high for chocolates and other related products. We were able to partner with 5 farmers to act as initial model for this activity. Aside from supporting them with seedlings, we will also provide technical assistance especially in field management of the newly planted seedlings.
Again, thank you very much for your support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario Sayre
