pitching water
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous donation to our project providing sanitation and food security to remote communities here. Sometimes all it takes is the provision of a simple pitcher pump in order to draw water from under the ground! So this reporting period, we provided 15 pitcher pumps to 3 small family groups in one of the remote barrios here. Before providing the pump, we make sure that the water table in the place is high and that water can be easily drawn by a pump. Aside from the pump, we also provided cement and sand and gravel and the communities benefiting from the initiative provided their own labor. The families were indeed very happy because they said that by this time there is no need for them to walk several minutes in order to fetch water from a nearby creek.
Again, thank you very much for your generosity.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario

Monitoring with experts
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing good sanitation and food security for poor families here. We focus more our attention to families located in remote barrios where assistance is difficult to come by. We also provide priority to those affected by recent natural disasters here such as flooding in Luzon, the eruption of Mayon Volcano and Typhoon Tembin. Our water and sanitation assistance are low-cost, easily replicable and sustainable. This reporting period, a large organization here is interested in our approach and we provided technical support to them. At the same time we also provided monitoring support to latrines that are already constructed. In this way we are hitting two birds with one stone. We are indeed very fortunate that our efforts are slowly being recognized here and even abroad. Hoping for more support from you.
Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario

Construction of a giant rainwater harvester
Dear Friend,
Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your support to our project providing decent sanitation and food security for poor communities here. This project is gaining traction as we are one of the acknowledge expert in this field. Our repertoire of technologies include low cost, decent latrines, communal hand-wash and giant ferro-cement rainwater harvesters. Our rainwater harvesters is very much needed in areas where there is no supply of water and where rain is abundant. This reporting period we are able to build one 10,000-liter capacity rainwater harvester in an upland community comprising mostly very poor farmers. Their feedback is that they are very happy because they have a direct water source rather than going to the creek in order to fetch water. This project is benefiting a total of 75 families.
Hoping for your continuing support to our initiative.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario
