Mentoring Boys With Football

In this quarter, we successfully organized a mentoring program with football for 16 teams from 5 different communities. The centerpiece of the initiative was a 14-day football tournament that aimed to create a platform for mentoring and empowerment.

Key Activities:

1. Mentoring Sessions: In addition to the football tournament, we conducted weekly mentoring sessions from September to November 2023. These sessions focused on imparting valuable life skills to approximately 200 young boys.

Topics Covered:

1. The Power of Love in Football: This session highlighted the importance of love and compassion both on and off the football field. By emphasizing the significance of empathy and teamwork, we aimed to foster a positive and inclusive environment.

2. The Meaning and Importance of Positive Team Culture: This session explored the significance of developing a positive team culture in football and how it translates to life. Through interactive activities and discussions, we encouraged boys to embody respect, discipline, and leadership.

Upcoming Plans:

To further expand the impact of the Mentoring Boys With Football initiative, we are planning a quarterly Mentoring With Football Charity Tournament in February 2024. This tournament targets boys under the age of 15 and aims to provide them with valuable mentoring opportunities and a platform to showcase their skills.
