Hello dear supporter,
I'm coming today to send you some news about Project Tres.
Since our last report almost 2 months ago, a lot continued to unfold within our project. A new year has started, and I guess the most exciting news we have to share with you first hand here, is that we managed to include 3 monthly paid women in our Indian project this year, and one more in Kenya, as well as an average increase of 33% of the monthly payments for ALL the previous 5 women in our Indian team. This didn't happen since 2017.
For the mental health program, the therapy sessions in Kenya, in partnership with Crossways, were a big success. The women love the local therapist assigned to them and have discussed topics such as grief, motherhood, anxiety, domestic violence and already shared that for this semester, they want to learn more about financial education.
In India, the sessions were taking longer to unfold due to changes in the Covid-19 regulations for meetings, but now the next appointment is scheduled for the 18th of February. Overall, we keep on providing them with work as much as possible, kids are studying and all our members are healthy, so this is already a great thing to share at the moment.
Our job in Project Tres is to ensure that the women and their children and families are safe, with all their basic needs covered, and able to work as much as possible. All that is only possible, because of your contribution.
This report will close this campaign, but the work in the areas of therapy and personal development will continue. If you have a recurring donation, you will be transferred to our newest ongoing campaign automatically.
Thanks for investing and trusting in our work. I wish you a great day wherever you are, from our Project Tres family to yours,
Stay healthy,
Carla.
