In order to address mental illnesses like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, schizophrenia, and alcohol and drug use disorders, this project was created to increase awareness. This number has been getting higher even after the COVID-19 and manifesting itself through depression, harmful alcohol and drug use, and self-harm or suicidal behavior.
We still don’t have enough donations to carry out all of the planned activities. We encourage you to spread the word to your loved ones. So that young people with mental health difficulties in Rwanda get to receive the support they need in order to develop themselves in all aspects of their lives.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you can receive an email when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports without donating.
