Introduction

We are deeply grateful for the generous support of our two donors, which has enabled us to reach a crucial milestone in the realization of our project. This report outlines our progress to date, the challenges we have faced and the next steps we plan to take to achieve our ambitious goals.

Achievements

Thanks to the contributions of our two generous donors, two school principals were persuaded to allow 35 students in their respective schools to attend classes without wearing the required uniforms. This flexible measure, made possible thanks to the dissemination of our project link via WhatsApp from META in Benin, brought immediate relief to the families of these 35 schoolchildren who could not afford to buy school uniforms.

Communication and fund-raising strategy

To achieve our long-term goals, we will be stepping up our communication and fundraising efforts. We'll be sending follow-up emails to people who have already supported us and to other potential contacts. The aim is to raise awareness of our cause and mobilize the resources needed to improve the living conditions of children in remote areas of Benin. This fund-raising campaign will be for the 2024-2025 school year, which starts next September. We expect to see an increase in the number of pupils needing help.

Challenges

One of the main challenges we face is the lack of Internet access and computer skills among our NGO members. This hampers our online communication and fund-raising efforts. However, we are determined to overcome these obstacles by finding alternative ways of contacting potential donors and partners.

Acknowledgement and gratitude

We would like to express our deep gratitude to our two generous donors. Their support has not only brought immediate relief to 35 schoolchildren, but has also strengthened our determination to pursue our mission. Their contribution is a testament to the justness and intrinsic value of our cause.

Conclusion and next steps

Despite the challenges encountered, the progress made thanks to the gifts of our two generous donors is encouraging. We will pursue our commitment with determination to achieve our goals and improve the lives of children in remote areas of Benin. We remain optimistic about the positive impact we can make with the continued support of our donors and partners.

Thank you once again for your support and commitment to our cause.
