Be the Hope in Kids' two battles

By Anastasiia Baraniuk | Specialist of Individual Fundraising

Dear friend,

Some stories have the power to remind us of the extraordinary impact one person can make. As we now find ourselves past the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, I want to share how your compassion is creating ripples of hope for children battling cancer during these challenging times.

I'm thrilled to share some wonderful news - GlobalGiving is currently offering a 50% match on all donations to Ukrainian projects while funds last! Every contribution you make now will stretch further, reaching more children who urgently need life-saving treatments during this critical time.

Let me introduce you to Ivan, a remarkable six-year-old whose courage inspires us daily. After his family lost their home to a missile strike, he faced another challenge – doctors discovered a tumor behind his ear. "It was really scary. I cried a little" - he shared, showing the innocent bravery that moves us all. Despite surgery, the cancer returned.

This is where your kindness changes everything. Thanks to supporters like you, Ivan continues his treatment with access to the best possible care. His story, like many others, is still being written – and you are helping write its hopeful chapters.

Even in the most challenging moments, when air raid sirens pierce the air and treatments must move to shelter, we see daily miracles. Children recover, families stay together, and hope prevails. Your support makes it possible.

As we move forward from this solemn anniversary, we also see more reasons for optimism every day. More children complete their treatments successfully, more families find strength, and more stories of triumph emerge. Hope, healing, and resilience – this is the legacy you create.

Will you continue this journey with us and help write more stories of recovery?

With heartfelt gratitude,
Anastasiia

P.S. Your gift today lights up the path of hope for children like Ivan on their treatment journey.
