In January a team from Portland, Oregon traveled to remote NE Uganda to complete the work on the medical clinic. It was hard work in 100 degree temperatures every day but they team had a great attitude and had a wonderful time working with the local village workers. When we left the clinic was ready to be equipped. We also got to see the contractors lay the foundation for the nurse's house. Just a few weeks ago we received word that the house was done. It is now the rainy season in the area and we are waiting for word from the local government that they approve the facilites and give us a date for the placement of a full time nurse to serve this village of 15,000. We are very pleased with the quality of the work. Thank you to our donors who have made this dream a reality in this village.
