The holy month Ramadan has begun, where the Muslim world prays and observes fast; This annual observance is regarded as one of the five pillars of Islam where Muslims thank Allah for the blessing bestowed upon them. Ramadan lasts for 29 to 30 days depends on visual sightings of the crescent moon.

In this month of fasting Muslims fast before sunrise till sunset and refrain from food and drinks Ramadan follows a lunar calendar and this year in Pakistan, it has fallen in the humid summers and last up to 17 hours.

Fatima Memorial Hospital has been taking care of needy and deserving patients for the last 37 years and tried to serve them in the best way we can.  In this holy month many patients came with their relatives and since they are very poor and will remain hungry while there loved one is being treated.

In this month of Ramadan, the hospital ensures that not only are the patients are well taken care off there loved ones are too.

Every deserving patient and there attendants are provided with food to open their fast.

One meal may not sufficient for a whole day but it is a blessing for these patients and their families. Ramadan is the month of blessings and we feel privileged to be serving our guests.

We are thankful for the opportunity that we have to serve the less fortunate and we are even more thankful for your support for the holy month of Ramadan.

Fatima Memorial Hospital has kept this tradition from the last three decades, but due to devaluation of Pakistani currency, inflation and economic conditions it is becoming very difficult with each passing year.

To continue  we need your support. With your help we will continue our mission as we are doing from the last 37 years.

Please donate generously for this cause as everyone deserves a meal after he or she breaks a fast.
