RIEFP has for a long time over five years witnessed the Most Vulnerable Children (MVC) in the community being highly affected in economic, social and cultural. With the outbreak of the COVID19 pandemic worldwide including Tanzania has more contribution into them. They are identified by the government and other stakeholders including NGOs, CBOs and community leaders have shown greater need of help for livelihood, economic support and social welfare included those HIV/AIDS infected and grooming
RIEFP by working in and with the community witnessed the Most Vulnerable Children (MVC) being highly affected in economic, social and cultural due to poverty or loss of parents/ guardian. With the outbreak of the COVID19 pandemic worldwide including Tanzania has more contribution to them. Some girls experience unwanted pregnancy, early marriage, sexual immaturity and embarrassment and lose of education and social protection including schools. Stakeholder and donors have a role to play for it.
RIEFP will train the Home Based Care and paraprofessionals to help the Most Vulnerable Children and families in Mbarali District in collaboration with the government officials in charge of children and social welfare that advocate for their rights and provide psycho social support. 32.2% communities in Mbarali District believe that that they have adequate opportunities to raise concerns about child abuse within their communities 26% caregivers(UNICEF&Tanzania Government baseline : 2011-2015).
With the establishment of the project, there will be an increase of an awareness for the Most Vulnerable Children and families of reporting incidences which prohibit the full potential of them. Hence the MVC and families will be good communities and live a meaningful life. The children will be good citizen in the future and provide a better contribution in the community and the whole globe in its totality. This project develops a good base for using the available stallholders for their growth
