Maternity Care for Women in Rural Myanmar

Dear Supporters,

Thanks to your generosity, our maternity care initiative in Myanmar's remote villages is making a real difference. So far, we have raised €33,372 of our €51,030 goal, with 132 donors and 3 fundraisers contributing to this crucial mission.

Our mobile clinics have reached hundreds of women who previously had no access to essential maternal healthcare. With trained midwives and medical professionals on board, we provide life-saving prenatal exams, assisted deliveries, and postnatal care, ensuring safer pregnancies and healthier newborns.

Key Updates:

• The mobile clinics now cover multiple underserved rural areas, bringing maternal care directly to women who need it most.

• Over the past months, we have provided prenatal exams to ensure early detection of complications and safer deliveries.

• Assisted deliveries by trained midwives have helped reduce the risks associated with childbirth in isolated villages.

• Postnatal support and maternal health education are empowering mothers with knowledge on newborn care and family planning.

• Despite political instability, our team continues to navigate challenges to provide uninterrupted healthcare services.
