Uganda has the youngest population in the world, but the highest rate of unemployment. School fees are too high for most families to afford, and many children, especially girls, don't have access to the education they deserve.
We provide education to youth, offering a typical school up until high school, and then vocational education in technology and arts to older youth and young adults. Our Uplift business empowerment program focuses on teaching financial literacy, empowering women to start and grow their own businesses through loan groups and business coaching. This way, we tackle the social injustices faced by youth and women, providing them the tools they need to lift themselves out of poverty.
We are empowering the youth of post-war areas of Northern Uganda to bring their own communities out of poverty by educating them in useful skills. This vision thrives alongside our self-sustaining model which helps entrepreneurs to start and grow businesses in Northern Uganda. This means that in a few years, the whole organisation will not rely at all on external funding to reach over 3,000 beneficiaries with our various programs in education and entrepreneurship.
