MARGARITY ORPHANAGE IN NIGERIA

Hello dear GG team, 

we have already 15 orphants in our Margarity Orphanage in Dukku, Nigeria.

Yes, our children are happy there, very well looked after, as we managed to create a personal sponsorship for each one of them, so in a way they have parents, who are encharged for their financial stability, with monthly donations of 60 euroes for each child. This sponsorship secures all their expences for food, water, clothing, several schools and even private lessons, as well as the ordinary carers for them.

We are also very happy to tell you, that our Margarity Orphanage has become an important place in the town, as we have many guests, who want to see our orphanage as the first and only one in Dukku and of course our orphant children.  Many visitors come with presents and they share experience and stories with the children, which brings additional knowledge and happy experience for them. 

We continue educating and bringing up our 15 orphants with joy and big expectations for their future!

We are happy to tell you that during the last 3 months, 7 more children came in the  Margarity Orphanage, so we have now 13 orphants all together to look after. The children are comming to the orphanage, sad, hungry, traumatized, some of them scared. After just a few weeks time, under our care they change completely, they are very happy children now. We provide them with the best possible variety and quality of food, clothes, toys, they study in 2 schools each and also we have private teachers for them, comming to the orphanage, so we can develope their talantes and skills.

One of our new chidren, called Shehu is deff and mute and he needs a special teacher to teach him to speak the language of signs, as well as the rest of the children and carers in the orphanage in order to comunicate with him. So we have a teacher giving classes in the orphanage every day for them.

During Ramadan and the Eid Fest, apart from the traditional treatment with sweets, our orphants received a lot of presents as new clothes, shoes etc. They were also invited to visit houses of important people in the town of Dukku, as the mair of the town and one of the polititians, being orphant himself, he received them with joy. Those visits of other people´s houses is a great experience and it helpes them to amplify their visiion about the world and develop their intelligence.
