Dear friends,
Its been a couple of months since our last report but wewhat great news we have! We are celebrating the completion of the Clean Water Well we have built for our village local to The Marc Bolan School of Music and Film. In response to urgent need, the well was designed by the architect and engineer of our Marc Bolan School, Philip Mansaray. He has designed, planned and overseen the building of the well for the people Madine village - a village which has NEVER had access to clean and pure water before. Built by local workmen, the highly professional standard of the well will ensure clean water for generations. On completion the well was sanitised and tested by the State Health Authority, and now children and their families are far less at risk of catching water-borne diseases and illnesses. The people will also save much time every week by not having to walk and carry heavy loads just in order to be able to wash, cook and clean everyday.
We are thrilled at the success of this project - we are changing people's lives for the better, See the pictures below, the stages of hard work, completion and celebration. And, if you can, please help us finishing our school building itself. WE still need $65,00! For more about our school building please see previous reports. We are devoted to our task, we are trustworthy and we achieve our targets - all to teach and inspire our students to develop their skills, talents and faith in the value of their lives.
