Some of our kids, especially girls, arrive at Malaika without having entered a school in their previous life.
They had to take care of the house, of younger siblings, or work to help the family budget.
The discovery of school is something that makes them so happy that you cannot even imagine!
Initially, they have to learn English, because we want them to attend high-level school. This seems strange for them because they must attend kindergarten even if they are already 7 or 8 years old. But they learn English quickly and so they can jump into the following classes and then they go fast.
All the primary school children are attending the same school, so they go to school on the same bus in the morning. We are very satisfied with the new school we have chosen because everybody can learn at his own pace and finally in a serene way.
Thank you for supporting Malaika and offering to kids the possibility to go to school!
Please consider starting to fundraise and ask people you know to become supporters of Malaika: It is easy and you'll gift long life presents to kids who had never been to school.
Best wishes
