Equinox greetings to the Ki Culture community! Thank you to all the generous donors who continue to make Ki Culture’s work possible. Navigating the last year and a half has been challenging to say the least, but our efforts came to fruition this month: we launched the Ki Futures Pilot Program! Ki Futures is a core element to Ki Culture’s founding vision, and it is incredibly rewarding to see the pilot community come together and make the vision a reality. If you have not yet heard of this program that connects institutions, cultural professionals, and sustainability specialists with each other and the resources needed to effect sustainable change in the Arts & Culture sector, come have a look on our website or social media!
The Ki Futures model recognises that saving the arts and saving the world is a collaborative and continuous endeavour, and in addition to this exciting program, we continue to offer additional outputs, including open Ki Trainings and Instagram Live events, where we share knowledge and success stories. Ki Culture continues to gain popularity, and we were excited to get mentions on a variety of platforms, from the International Committee for Museums and Collections of Modern Art to The Art Newspaper. In July, Ki Culture joined forces with our Partners for Arts Climate Targets as a founding member.
We encourage you to keep us in mind for Giving Tuesday in November, but please remember that there is more than one way to give. If you are interested in volunteering with Ki Culture, contact us at info@kiculture.org. You do not need to be a cultural professional or a sustainability expert! There are so many facets to this work that we can surely find a place for your talents. If you or anyone you know can help with translations, fundraising, business administration, coordinating or project management, please get in touch.
Thank you to the Ki Futures pilot cohort for leading fearlessly and inspiring hope throughout the sector, thank you to our PACT partners for recognising our strength together, and thank you to our supporters and donors as we embark on this exciting next phase of Ki Culture.
