Important news
By Carolina Moraes | Director
Dear community,
We really want to thank you all for supporting this project. Also, we want to give some important news about this project.
Since the start, we’ve been working really hard to provide a better space for the children of Valparaíso and the environment. The pandemia made us adapt our work for the community, giving even more time and energy than before.
For that reason, we decided to close this project, to focus in others, like maintain Ludoteca Minga in a general way, and some smaller ones.
We reaffirm our commitment with the environment and sustainability. In particular, we’re going to expose the model of the Ludoteca in some local schools. This is a great opportunity to expose our work, and the importance of being responsible with the environment, by using resources in a proper way, like water and electricity.
Thank you very much,

Dear community,
Thank you very much for all the support. In the last months we’ve been working for the dream of make the Ludoteca Sustainable. This dream is closer thanks to you and a local company. We presented our project to Esval, a local company, and they gave us the resources to recycle gray water used in the Ludoteca.
We’re preparing the place to start with this project, so we decided to extend the garden, rebuilding a retaining wall, in order to not disturb the activities of the kids. This is great for the kids, because they’re going to enjoy more open spaces.
We’re going to start the project in two weeks. This is a great opportunity for the kids, and also the community, to learn about the importance of recycling, and ways to implement this technology in their own houses.
Thanks again for all the support you gave to us to make this dream come true.
Stay safe!

An update of the project
By Carolina Moraes | Director

Dear community,
We had some troubles with the platform, but now we’re back to tell you some news about the project.
In October 2020 we had the opportunity to create a model of Ludoteca with the collaboration of some students at a local university, specialist in mechanics and architecture.
The model represents our dream: being 100% sustainable, with feasible solutions about the use of energy and water.
This Ludoteca looks to be built in a collaborative way, so the community of Valparaiso will be involved with the space and different strategies to make it sustainable. It’s going to be an excellent opportunity to bring education about the importance of being responsible about the use of resources, especially water in our country. We're facing a very long drought with serious problems in agriculture, so we need to take care of it and be part of the solution, especially kids and future generations.
Thanks for all your support. Stay safe!
