This new project consists of converting "The Ludoteca Merced" into a sustainable place through the use of Unconventional Renewable Energies, being an agent of change in environmental awareness. We hope that these energies can be used, observed and understood by the community itself, contributing to their environmental education and impacting on the reduction of the carbon footprint that is generated in the neighborhood, city and planet through guided tours of schools, universities and organiza
The community has no knowledge and hasn't had a real approach to the positive impact that renewable energy can generate, and don't have the economic capacity to invest in one of these systems. The Ludoteca generates unsustainable water and electricity consumption, in economic terms and environmental impact. There are no services to the community, schools, universities and organizations where awareness about the domestic use of the Non-Conventional Renewable Energies is generated.
Systems included in the project will be installed in an interactive way, so users can understand them. Raising awareness of the ecological and economic benefits of it. NCRE systems will provide sufficient water and electricity for 15 years in a sustainable way, in economic terms and in the reduction of the impact on the carbon footprint. We will develop a guided tour plan for the community, students and organizations to learn about the operation and how to install these solutions for home use.
Raising awareness in the adoption of these sustainable solutions encourages the community to seek different ways to replicate them. The Ludoteca will reduce the costs of the daily services. This will allow strengthening activities for children and the community. The services of guided visits with voluntary contributions will make visible the use, benefit and impact of NCRE to society; and in turn, they will allow the Ludoteca to capitalize to replicate the project in other neighborhoods.
