Dear Supporters,
THANK YOU! With your generous support over the past year, we’ve been able to reach and exceed our goal - providing over 1,000 children at Entebbe Primary School with nutritious meals daily. Initially, we planned to provide only lunch, but in light of the economic impact of COVID-19 and the donations we received, we were able to provide lunch and breakfast to all students.
Teachers, parents, and students alike have been supportive of the program and have reported improvements in student health and performance now that everyone has full bellies and focused minds!
In the last report, you heard from Diana*, she had a few more words of gratitude for our supporters:
“We are so grateful for the work Tender Grassroots is doing for us. The food is helping us at school and pursue our dreams. We hope the work will continue.”
- Diana, 7th grade student, Entebbe UMEA Primary School
This is just the beginning...
At Tender Grassroots we believe in holistic development and we know that part of making sure students are well-nourished at school means ensuring they also have access to clean and safe drinking water. Please donate to our water project here.
Keep an eye out for our upcoming holiday fundraising drive! We are so grateful for all your support this year and we hope you’ll support our end of the year annual drive to expand our impact and serve more people in Kitubulu!
In Solidarity,
The Tender Grassroots Team
