We say thank you during this challenging time for all your generous contrinutions which allows us to continously meet the need of the commmunity. During this campaign we have suppoorted the 11 organisations across 9 countries meeting the need of over 500 lgbt persons.
In this quarter the greatest support went to Equals and SHE Barbados and you can see the photos attached to this report. We were also able to supoort communition top up as well as transportation to better access health services.
Although the community is still in need of help , this campign will close in teh next couple days. Again we say thnak you.

Update on Support

We have been so greatful to being able to raise flexible funds. The funds which has been raised through this campaign has allowed us to continue providing support to difference community members across 9 islands. We have assisted additional 5 persons with food , utilities, communications, transportation and rent support. The support was in Antigua, Grenada, Barbados , St Kitts and St Martin/Sint Maarten.
As a network orgnaistion all the requests we are getting are coming through the local grassroot member orgnaisation on the ground. And every donation counts as it has assisted us meet their request.
We are still monitoring and supporting the communities the best we can, as most of the island has implemented new protocols, curfews, lock downs and in some case state of emergency to handle the pandemic with suraged after the christmas season and new year opening.
Again ECADE say thank you to all the support and will keep you updated on our process, social justice action and new new campaign launching soon.

SUPPORT TO THE Eastern Caribbean LGBTQ GRASSROOTS

The GlobalGiving crowd sourcing has given us $5800 USD initially for COVID support.
So as the umbrella organisation right now we are able to give the support request from 6 countries namely Antigua, Dominica, St Vincent, St Kitts st Maartin and Barbados. This aloowed us tpo support 8 organisations across the the 6 countires which by extension has reached over 30-50 persons on the ground.
With each of the organisations we have been able to supporthas in turn supported diverse memebers of their member with food, care packages, shelter and transportation.
Support is ongoing and the we are still funding raising to help organisation help community but also that of their own instutional support.
