“Be Better Tomorrow than we are today” is almost a unanimous chant from our Scholars when asked “what do you want to be when you finished High School?”
Nostalgically looking back 5 years ago, when we first choose our first 5 Scholars for this Program, we have witnessed tears overflowing from parents who can’t afford to send their children to High School due to financial incapability. Next year, we are expecting these Scholars to graduate from the K12 Program and soon will be on their own!
Every year that Gawad Pangarap representative goes home to the Philippines and meet with these Scholars, we are always reminding them of their “Dreams” – of not letting go of such and not to waste the opportunity that was given to them by the Foundation thru Donors like you. Thank you for the over-whelming support!
Creating Leaders and Leadership has been our on-going mentoring to these young minds. As quoted from John Maxwell “How to Become Better Tomorrow than You are today”, we are imparting to them about Learning, Talking and Practicing their Craft. And we will continue to reinforce this mantra one Scholar at a time - encouraging them to participate in Community Activities, Lead in small groups; Be vocal on what is in their minds; and most importantly, to be able to Lead thru examplenary examples..
