Molding children to be better individuals, it is best to teach them how to care for the environment and for others. Recently, Gawad Pangarap Foundation Scholars joined hands with the members of Sangguniang Kabataan of Tagudin, Ilocos Sur to do Coastal clean-up. It is a common knowledge that garbage and refuse that are improperly disposed of is the major cause of flooding in the Philippines.
Tagudin and its neighboring coastal towns are fishing communities. These children participating in such activities creates in them awareness of the importance of maintaining discipline upon their actions and understands better the implications of their actions. As the saying goes, we have a responsibility to make the world a better place, and each one of us in accountable.
For Gawad Pangarap Foundation Scholars, this is an opportunity to pay back, while paying the effort forward of the help that others have provided to achieve their merits. Please continue to support us with our long term project. Monthly contributions are a great way to budget.
