Project Report | Aug 12, 2024
Thank you and an update

By Suranjani Wickremeratne | President - Tarana Foundation

Dear Donors,

Greetings, Well Wishes and Blessing to all of you from Tarana Foundation !

We thank you for all the assistance you have given towards this project in the past.

We greatly appreciate your contribution towards our project to support the Orthopedic Unit of the Lady Ridgeway Hospital, the premier children's hospital in Sri Lanka. As you may be aware, that this hospital treats children free of charge, and its mainly patronized by those children from low-income families in Sri Lanka.

The Restore Hope Project, under the auspices of the Tarana Foundation, reaffirmed its commitment to the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children with a significant donation of a hip preservation set, the first of its kind to be available in Sri Lanka, valued at Rs. 7.5 million. The donation ceremony took place on 23 July 2024 at the Orthopaedic Unit Operating Theatre of the Lady Ridgeway Hospital. The donation included a valuable Rs. 4 million donation from an individual donor and Rs. 2 million from Heuschen & Schrouff Oriental. The balance funds were as raised from GlobalGiving and other donations we received.

I send herewith some of the photographs and links of newspaper articles relating to the donation, for your information.

May you and your family be blessed abundantly !

Wishing that may all your noble aspirations be fulfilled

Best Regards
