Dear Valued Leadership Initiative Donor,
Things have been going great in the lovely Bauchi located in Nigeria. Our reach of business partners in Nigeria is still expanding rapidly, and we are making great headway to change more lives every single day. Leadership Initiatives is so blessed to be working with such an amazing team and businesses that are committed to bettering themselves and the community.
One of our amazing business owners, Ibrahim, owns a Mobile Phone Repair Company and has been making great strides in his work. Ibrahim does not only help lead the community; he helps teach young boys his trade to give them the skills to make a living. The skills they gained with Ibrahim allow them to provide for their families and contribute to the well-being of their community. Besides taking in apprentices, Ibrahim has worked hard to support his sister and uncle after both of his parents died. In these difficult circumstances, Ibrahim stepped up and made ends meet.
Now Ibrahim has used his business to put himself through school at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University and will be graduating later this year with a degree in Microbiology. Ibrahim plans to continue to help his community and use his degree to pursue other passions.
Thanks to you as donors, Ibrahim has had the chance to expand his business to the point where he can pay for an education at university. Leadership Initiatives will always be committed to community leaders like Ibrahim, and we are always happy to see people thriving from our work. However, it is donors like you who have given us the chance to affect the lives of many Nigerian businesses so they can help more people around them.
I am very grateful for your part in our journey, and I hope you stick around to here more amazing stories from half way across the world in Nigeria.
Thanks,
Leadership Initiatives Team
