Project Report | Mar 11, 2022
The fight for literacy continues...

By Saundra Williams | Executive Director

Thank you once again for supporting our micro project to help 100 vulnerable children in Liberia. While we did not meet our full goal of $10,000 we will be able to accomplish a great deal in the coming months thanks to your support, including:

  • RHL will purchase books from STAR Books, a West African publishing company, located in Monrovia.
  • RHL will purchase a full set of required readers for Grades 1 through 6.
  • RHL will purchase both the supplemental and additional readers to stock the library shelves. These readers have required curricula in classrooms, however, most families are unable to afford them. Students will now have them available at the community library!

As these activities are fully implemented we will update you with post-impact reports. Additionally, we plan to continue our fundraising efforts outside of GlobalGiving to ensure this project is fully realized.

Thank you so very much for your support.  We are that much closer to achieving this goal.

Warm Regards,

Saundra Williams, Executive Director
