Learner testimonies

By Brighton khumalo | Project Contributor

Testimony from learner who benefited from the lights in St Marks College, Cape Town:

I am one of the matriculants who received the complimentary lights from Hope Africa, the light has helped me through my June and Trial examination revisions and studies as we are experiencing loadshedding in the country and it is sometimes very hard to try and study in the dark, but with the aid of the Hope Africa light I was able to study challenging subjects such as Mathematics and Physical sciences and with that I was able to pass both subjects but not with pleasing results. The light was also used for charging my phone while I was watching subject videos on youtube during the hours of loadshedding and with that I would love and wish for Hope Africa to continue on their journey of helping upcoming matric learners by giving them more lights and perhaps I suggest a stationery bundle to aid through their exams. On behalf of the St Marks College matriculants and staff we thank Hope Africa for aiding us with lights to make it through the harsh hours of loadshedding.
