We express our sincere gratitude to GlobalGiving and all our partners for their unwavering collaboration and support. Together, we remain committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of those affected by displacement in Ethiopia.

During the current reporting period, our organization, MHO, has achieved notable progress in the execution of the project "Help Life-Saving to Displaced People in Ethiopia," thanks to the generous support from GlobalGiving and its partner organizations.

During this reporting period, under the project titled "Helping Life-Saving Efforts for Displaced People in Ethiopia," MHO has continued its efforts with the generous support of GlobalGiving and its partner donations. Currently, MHO is focused on assisting the most vulnerable women, children, and internally displaced persons (IDPs), complemented by additional donations.

Specifically, MHO has directed its efforts towards aiding vulnerable women and children, including 130 newly incarcerated women and 269 vulnerable women. This assistance has been facilitated through the newly established relief and rehabilitation center located in Jimma town, in the western part of Ethiopia, approximately 330 kilometers away from the capital.

With the financial support received, MHO has not only provided life-saving aid that includes distributing life-saving supplies such as food, clean water, and medical assistance to displaced individuals and families, particularly focusing on vulnerable women and children. but has also undertaken rehabilitation and reintegration initiatives. This includes offering vocational skills training to empower vulnerable women, along with the provision of essential household supplies such as clothing. Additionally, seed money has been allocated to support their financial independence and sustainability. enable them to rebuild their lives with dignity and resilience.

Furthermore, MHO has established Rehabilitation Centers where impoverished mothers and children are receiving comprehensive support. These centers serve as safe spaces for individuals to rebuild their lives with dignity, providing holistic services tailored to their needs.
