Despite the fact that the peace accord relieved people and put an end to an almost two-year war that had wracked the Tigran region, there were still impending humanitarian problems and catastrophes. However, recent conflicts between government forces and Fano militias have resulted in violent combat that has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis.

As MHO works in the Amhare region of Ethiopia through one of its rehabilitation centers, the humanitarian situation there is currently fast deteriorating, and people there are facing famine and displacement due to new wars that have broken out throughout the region.

Your kind monetary support through the project Help life-saving to displaced People in Ethiopia were utilized for providing emergency food assistance, life-saving food, nutrition, medical and hygiene supplies, nutrition rations to children and women, reproductive health kits, dignity kits water and sanitation supplies, sanitation facilities, washing materials hygiene kits as well as provided psychological support for displaced children who have been suffering from psychological trauma and lack of other basic need

The financial support directly addresses urgent needs that have not yet been covered, with a focus on helping women and children because they are the most vulnerable during times of war.

Your most recent financial contribution not only immediately addressed a humanitarian need, but also shielded women and children from Gander-based violence.

Lessons we learn from in due course implantation and GlobalGiving and its partners funded project a series of intervention process as well being part of GlobalGiving

  • This helps to   in addressing immediate grave multi-sectoral gaps in service provision within the targeted area  and
  •  The money donation  from  differ project on the global  giving not only  enabled MHO to reach out  the most variable and marginalized ,but also   brought   Quick and high impact in responding   to the most pressing household-level needs. This in turn enchased  trust and has  created  collaborations  and reputation of  MHO  in implementing  the Ethiopian government with the design, monitoring, and evaluation of   projects with  local communize s and  government
  • The funding from various projects on the GlobalGiving platform has strengthened MHO's donation base and greatly assisted MHO in extending the scope of its activities, which now include both development and disaster and relief efforts and are carried out in both rural and urban settings. For instance, MHO recently opened a new rehabilitation center in the western Ethiopian town of Ambo with the goal of enhancing the lives and quality of life of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged women and their children via comprehensive services.
  • The need to continuously   posting differ project on GlobalGiving project site  based on the need at community level
