Through your generous contribution, over 70 street connected children will have access to a well stocked library and ICT lab from our Day Care Centre (FCP) in Ashaiman and our Temporary Shelter (WEM) in Ayikuma.
The nature of background of our beloved beneficiaries, street connected children means, additional efforts are needed in teaching them the rudiments of basic education and ICT. We seek to explore all avenues to ensure their holistic development so they are not "left behind". Our 2 Centres in Ashaiman and Ayikuma currently have inadequate books and computers to complement our efforts in teaching and guidance of our beneficiaries.
The project would enable street connected children have access to adequate books and computers for ICT education. An adequate and well stocked library and ICT lab is good for child curiosity and widen the knowledge base of our wards. There would be more room for individual support of beneficiaries in reading and in ICT education.
The project would positively impact over 70 street connected children by increasing access to adequate book stock and ICT education.
