Pink has continued to provide vital support to the LGBT+ community in Armenia through essential services, advocacy, and safe community events. Your donations on GlobalGiving have been crucial in sustaining our work and ensuring that LGBT+ individuals and allies have a space to connect, heal, and grow.
This year, we’ve placed even greater focus on regional communities, expanding our outreach to areas where LGBT+ people often face even harsher challenges. Our regional community centers have become rare safe spaces where individuals can find belonging, exchange knowledge, and receive support.
For many in our community, daily life is filled with obstacles—discrimination at work and school, violence, social isolation, and pressure from conservative families. In these difficult moments, Pink is here to offer guidance, protection, and solidarity. With a dedicated team of professionals, we provide psychological, legal, and social services tailored to the unique needs of LGBT+ individuals in Armenia.
Because of our strong cooperation, Armenia’s Ombudsperson’s office continues to address LGBT+ rights in its annual report, providing a critical analysis of the challenges our community faces. Additionally, a landmark ruling from the European Court of Human Rights confirmed that Armenia’s laws fail to protect against hate speech and incitement to discrimination. This decision stregthens our commitment to pushing for legal and societal change, ensuring that no one in Armenia is left unprotected.
In a time when anti-LGBT+ rhetoric and extremism are on the rise, your generosity brings hope and real impact. Your support helps us continue the fight for a safer, more inclusive future. Thank you for standing with us.
