It is just a few days until the exciting carnival in celebration of our 20th anniversary! This Sunday, July 23rd we will finally be holding this long awaited event. We expect around 1,200 people to attend the fair. This includes current students, their parents, donors, and even our graduates with their own young children. We can’t wait to bring together our community to celebrate this momentous accomplishment.
During the fair, students will be able to enjoy bouncy castles, trampolines, fair games, face painting, and eat many delicious treats including shucos which are similar to hotdogs but much larger and stuffed with many yummy ingredients and covered with different sauces. The day will end with a presentation by students of different ages where they will share their experiences at EFTC and their hopes for their future. This will be followed by a mime show put on by the most famous mime in all of Antigua! Our team has been hard at work for several months putting together every piece of this monumentous celebration.
In honor of our 20th anniversary we wanted to make our students get to experience exciting games and activities that they otherwise don’t have access to. We also wanted to host a memorable joy filled day where they get to just be kids. We look forward to the carnival on Sunday and are so thankful for your generosity which has made this special day possible.
