EFTC turns 20 this year! Since 2003 we have been serving the community of Jocotenango, Guatemala. Our big celebration month will be July and we want to include each and every student including our alumni. We are planning have a Carnaval on Sunday July 23 where we plan to invite current students, past students and their family members. Help us celebrate the students that have worked so hard to get to where they are today.
We fundraise for each element of our programming every year (for education, nutrition, mental and physical health support). Every penny of our fundraising is accounted for. We continue to focus on students' education and careers and in this very special 20th anniversary year we are also enabling students and families to celebrate their achievements and all who have come before them since 2003.
So often charities only provide their vulnerable populations with the resources they immediately need. We believe this meaningful celebration will contribute towards the value students place upon their education in the foundation. Our students have been benefiting from EFTC programming for the last 20 years, and we are putting them at the centre of the celebrations. Help us fund this great milestone for all of our students, one of their family members, our past students and staff.
All of the 20th anniversary celebrations will further cement the place of the foundation within the town of Jocotenango and strengthen community relationships with both families and local partners.
