Introduction
Another Hope Children's Ministries (AHCM) launched the Water Life Project - Lent 2024 to address water scarcity in the Butambala district by constructing 10 home water tanks. The project aimed to provide sustainable access to clean water for the residents.
Impact Story
One of the beneficiaries, a mother of four, shares her transformative experience:
"Before the water tank was installed, my day would start early in the morning. I would walk for 30 minutes to the nearest water source, carrying heavy cans back (20 ltrs) and forth. It was exhausting, and my children often had to skip school to help me. When AHCM built a water tank at our home, everything changed. Now, I wake up knowing I have enough water for the day. My children are back in school, and I have started a small vegetable garden, which I never had time for before. The tank has truly transformed our lives."
