Between August 1 2006 and 31 January 2007 Mercy Corps and local partners reached more than 450,000 beneficiaries in 179 villages in Lebanon. Assistance has fallen within five sectors: (1) logistics and relief commodities; (2) protection; (3) food security and agriculture; (4) water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH); and (5) nutrition. Funding has come from several sources, including OFDA and Global Giving.
