ICT CAMPUS, lion’s share of conversation
Our new futuristic Startup Lions ICT Campus by Kéré Architecture has been awarded renowned recognition: the Monocle Design Award, the Wallpaper* Design Award, MIP List, The Guardian - and ultimately, architect Francis Kéré received the Pritzker Prize for his innovative approach of new and sustainable construction methods - tailored to an IT campus in the semi-desert of Turkana.

For the next step, we are now welcoming new civil engineers, architects & builders volunteers for the support and supervision for the next phase of the ICT center construction process - in collaboration between our local team in Turkana, Kenya @ Startup Lions with our architectural partner Kéré Architecture from Berlin, Germany.

Let us introduce our new program: MOBILE LEAP
The mission of mobile LEAP is to enable young people to expand their minds, discover online work opportunities, and build careers, by turning every phone into a university and office. Our vision is digital empowerment for young people in economically deprived areas via mobile devices, and the preparation for digital careers, apprenticeships, and higher education around the globe.
Together with Tunapanda Institute, cohort 2 successfully graduated after their 3-month educational training at the ICT Campus.

WAKANDA GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL
At the shore of Lake Turkana, the first fully digital girl school in Kenya is located next to our ICT Campus, with every desk and classroom equipped with a networked computer system and a large variety of digital extracurricular activities, giving girls the education, confidence, and empowerment to be leaders in the digital world of the future. The doors open at the start of the next school year.

The cooperation between Learning Lions and Futura Solution aims to bridge a solution for current and future topics of our talents. Our trained Lions learn new skill sets in a new context and gain real-life work experience that is equipping them for long-term job opportunities, creating impact.

BABY PAWS
WE’RE LIVE! Baby Paws is a 2D animation channel for children's education about animal life in their natural habitats all over the world through short films with realistic animal characters. The entire process from writing the storyboard to the creation of the characters and background art, as well as the entire sound and music, was supervised, designed, and executed by our creative Lions.
