Desde el Laboratorio de Artes Integradas (LAI) esperamos que estén bien de salud.
Debido a la pandemia en diciembre de 2020 creamos el programa “LAI va a la Comunidad”, que consiste en llevar a nuestros profesores a las 5 comunidades que atendemos, con el propósito de continuar la enseñanza de las artes integradas.
Nuestros estudiantes han estado aprendiendo a hacer tapabocas, practicando sus coreografías de danza, continuando sus clases de percusión con instrumentos hechos con material reciclado, haciendo yoga y mejorando en sus clases de dibujo y pintura.
Ha sido una experiencia enriquecedora para los niños y la comunidad. Para nosotros y los profesores ha sido un privilegio estrechar nuestros lazos con los padres y con las 5 comunidades a las cuales pertenecen nuestros alumnos. La generosidad y amor con el que nos reciben, el interés y el agradecimiento con el que nos dan la bienvenida, nos ha llenado el corazón y nos da fuerzas para seguir con más empeño nuestra labor de educar y alimentar el alma de nuestros niños.
Con este programa hemos logrado aumentar el número de niños en cada comunidad.

From the Integrated Arts Laboratory (LAI) we hope you are in good health.
Due to the pandemic, in December 2020 we created the "LAI goes to the Community" program, which consists of taking our teachers to 5 communities with the aim of keep teaching integrated arts.
Our students have been learning to make face masks, rehearsing their dance routines, practicing percussion with instruments made from recycled materials, doing yoga, and improving their drawing and painting classes.
It has been an enriching experience for the children and the community. For us and the teachers, it´s a privilege to strengthen our ties with parents, the community and experience first-hand what their life is.

The generosity and love with which they receive us, the interest and gratitude with which they welcome us, has been such a beautiful experience that it has filled our hearts and gives us the strength to continue our work of educating and nurturing the souls of our children.
With this program we have managed to increase the number of children in each community.
Thanks to your generosity and constant support, we can continue with our art program education and helping our students in such difficult times.
