Education Seminar for Tribal Peoples
Now that Covid restrictions have been lifted in northern Thailand, we can begin scheduling our reading and wrting seminars once again.
In Mae Hong Son Province of northwest Thailand we were able to complete sessions 1 and 2 of a 3-part seminar that gives participants the knowledge and skills to begin reading their own language and writing as well. The third session is tentatively scheduled for mid-March 2023 for the 25+ students that have been progressing rapidly in their skills acquisition.
Upon completion of the third session, the students will have all the tools to decipher their own language for reading and also to be able to write proficiently. With these skills, there will be greater opportunities for advanced employment and applying these skills as they learn Thai and English.
With these foundational skills in reading and writing the future looks brighter and brighter these aspiring scholars!
