Dear friends,
First, we want to apologize for the delay in sharing this update. Non-profits, much like jugglers, are always balancing between keeping projects alive and finding the resources to sustain them. Sometimes, this means we take longer than we’d like to send out our updates—but that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten you. Quite the opposite. We are deeply grateful for your support, and we’re excited to finally share the impact you’ve helped create.
From October to December, students from Santa Rosa school in Cutervo, Cajamarca experienced something special—weekly Kick-Off soccer sessions with a professional physical education teacher. For many, this wasn’t just about playing a sport. It was about moving, learning, and feeling part of something bigger. Your support made this possible, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Why Soccer? Why Here?
In Peru, soccer is more than a game—it’s part of who we are. It brings people together, creates a sense of belonging, and gives children and young people the chance to dream, connect, and grow. But not every child has access to a safe place to play or the opportunity to develop their skills with trained professionals. In Santa Rosa, a small rural community in Cutervo, life is shaped by its beautiful landscapes, rich traditions, and strong community ties. But opportunities for structured recreational activities like this are scarce.
With your help, Kick-Off became more than an idea—it became a real experience for the students of Santa Rosa.
What You Helped Achieve
Between October and December, we:
What’s Next? And How Can You Help?
We are already working on plans to restart and improve the project in April—but we need your help to make it happen. Every new donation will go directly toward this year’s program, ensuring that more students in Cutervo can keep playing, keep learning, and keep dreaming.
Would you consider making another donation? Your support will help us bring soccer, movement, and community-building to even more children.
Can you share this with your friends and family? Every share helps us reach new people who believe in the power of soccer just like you do.
Thank you for believing in these students, in this project, and in the transformative power of play. Together, we can make Kick-Off even better.
With gratitude,
Maricarmen
