Hello friends,
It's been a slow quarter for fundraising, but an exciting one for ORS, who have been able to source a new transmitter that will help them to expand their broadcast range and audience catchment, and also make their coverage more reliable. It has been more than 5 years since ORS was last about to broadcast at 2 kilowatts!
Also, by collaborating with neighbouring community businesses, most notably a Maasai women's dairy, they are on the verge of converting to affordable and climate friendly 100% solar power for their transmissions.
Please do share the project with friends and family, to continue to make Maasai community broadcasting sustainable and impactful into the future.
